Bamboo Cutting Board
As you may already know, I love to spend time in the kitchen, and I am always on the look out for new tools or gadgets to make the experience even more enjoyable. This bamboo cutting board has been everything I was looking for but never able to find. At 1mm thick it is tough enough for the sharpest knife and the color coded is a great way to prevent cross-contamination. And it makes it easy for the kids to know which matt to use for each type of item they need to cut up. I also love that I can just throw them in the dishwasher and don't have to worry about them warping, such a time saver!
Pot Strainer
One of my go to dishes on a busy night is a delicious pot of homemade sphagetti! It's quick, easy, and delicious... plus the kids LOVE IT! One kitchen gadget I have found that makes the process even easier is this pot strainer. It easily fits on almost any pot and the clips hold so firmly I have never been concerned of it falling off. Plus, it saves me from having to dirty one more dish, making clean-up even faster and easier... and again, it is dishwasher safe!
Dry Food Dispenser
I am sure we have all been there, especially if you have little kiddos, walking into your pantry only to find the boxes of cereal left opened and stale. Or the plastic is ripped to the point the cereal pours out all over the place, making a mess every time you try to pour yourself a bowl. I know Crew was famous for this! LOL This is why I was so excited when I came across this dry food dispenser. It prevents the cereal from going stale, ripped bags that cause the cereal to go everywhere, and it makes it easier for the kids to pour their own cereal in the mornings. Giving the a sense of independence and putting my mind at ease that I am not going to walk into a giant mess. If you have young ones or just want a cleaner easier solution, I highly recommend these!
Cut n Seal
It's that time of year again, school, co-op, soccer practice, etc... I love to make my kids lunches anytime they will be out for the day. However, while I prefer to avoid buying pre-made items full of who knows what, such as Uncrustables, I have a tough time getting my kids to eat certain things if it doesn't look like the "store-bought" version.. This Cut n Seal gadget is a great way to create the same "store-bought" look my kids want, while still allowing me to customize what bread I use and what/how much I put in their sandwiches. Also, I love that it gives me the freedom to try different types of sandwiches but still keep that same fun look they enjoy!
