Today, I am so excited to take you on a visual tour of the aptly named, Little White House. Such a romantic home! An elegant, whimsical home, full of wispy whites, gold and silvers designed by it’s owner, CeCe Krescy, who can be found on Instagram @TheLittleWhiteHouseCo . Rather than relying on pattern to add visual interest, CeCe relied on textures, keeping the home serene and light. I love her unique take on comfort and simplicity.
“Once upon a time there was a Little White House dressed in white, gold and silver glitter. The house and rooms are full of perfume, the shelves are crowded. I breathe the fragrance myself and know it and like it”
Incorporating spacious front and back porches, a cupola reminiscent of an old American barn, and exposed rafter tails make this exterior a perfect modern farmhouse. The black roof contrasts so perfectly with the white cedar shakes, trim and windows. Mixing in various grid patterns and transoms make the windows visually interesting versus just blending into the white. Lush, deep greenery that is perfectly landscaped surrounds the home, making the white exterior pop so beautifully!
Using texture and warm accents with the white color palette makes this home a serene sanctuary. Bright and airy without feeling the slightest bit cold with beautifully styled, one of a kind antique pieces giving the home a curated yet lived in, comfortable vibe. The clean, minimalistic style with uncluttered lines gives the home a luxurious sophistication. The laundry room is a daring dose of color and pattern giving depth to an otherwise neutral palette. Cece did such an amazing job creating this impeccably designed home that perfectly captures her passion and spirit. To see more of her life and home, check her out on Instagram!
